Hello Downstate Families,

We hope everyone had a great holiday and is staying safe and healthy!

The Downstate Board will be hosting parent informational meetings via Zoom to discuss various updates regarding the remainder of the 2020-2021 season. We are asking at least one parent per family, to be in attendance during your child’s respective program’s scheduled time. The meeting will be program-based as far as content is concerned, as well as questions from the parents in attendance, so please attend the appropriate time, listed below.

The meetings will be focused on some of the following topics:

  • Upcoming scheduling for tournaments, practices, and film day.
  • Travel tournaments requirements, protocols, and what to expect.
  • Covid-19 protocols including safety measures and guidelines.
  • Site location updates.
  • High School seasons and the effects on Downstate’s season; and
  • Q&A portion led through the chat function whereby parents are encouraged to pose questions to the Directors.

We ask that you think about and hold any questions until this meeting and if your question was not answered during the presentation, post it in the chat for a Director’s response.
