This message is going out to all registered athletes and families for the Downstate 2021-22 club season. If you have already ordered your uniform kit, then you can safely ignore the part of this message between the lines.

As most of you know, the store for ordering your Downstate uniform kit closed on Sunday night, and those uniforms are going to production, now, for delivery at the beginning of practices. If you are one of the several that did not order your uniform, we have arranged with out supplier, Smack Sportswear, to reopen the online store.  Smack will be making a 2nd production run for all orders placed between Monday, 10/11, and Monday, 11/01. They are going to do their best to ship the 2nd production run, for delivery prior to the December holidays; but, they can’t guarantee that!  Please note that there has been an average $20 price increase for the uniform kits to reflect the smaller quantity, rush order and increased shipping cost.

Please note: you must order the full uniform kit in order to play! You must go online and order using the link provided – no emails to Downstate replace your obligation to order your uniform. We can not change the sizes ordered; please verify accuracy prior to placing your order.

We have/will use your uniform number requests from the team commitment registration. You do not supply a number when you order your uniform kit.

We have received several reports that NCSA has started contacting families about their recruiting services.  You may receive a call after registering with USA Volleyball (GEVA) or possibly after registering on TeamSnap.  While you are certainly welcome to use their services, Downstate does not encourage nor endorse them. Downstate provides full college recruiting support to all Regional and National team athletes, through our ConnectVolleyball portal and our Recruiting Coordinators, at no additional charge.
