Daniela Castro is currently a Physical Education teacher and certified Health teacher. Aside from teaching, Daniela Castro has been coaching a wide variety of sports since 2012.  She started her volleyball coaching career at Walter Panas High School in 2012 as the varsity assistant. In 2012, Walter Panas advanced to the state final four for the first time in program history. Daniela has coached a wide variety of teams here at Downstate from National 13s to 17s. Daniela is currently the head varsity volleyball coach at Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua, New York since 2013. She resides in Ossining with her husband, Bill and their daughter, Blair.
