Iris Bromfield played one year of high school volleyball and four years at Herbert Lehman College, where she graduated with bachelors in Physical Education and a Master in Health Education. She was the head coach for Boys and Girls Volleyball at John F Kennedy High School for 23 years, during which time they combined to play in 11 PSAL Championships and won six City Championships. Iris coached the New York City Boys Volleyball Empire State Team for eight years, winning one silver and four bronze medals. She was the Assistant Coach at Manhattanville College for two years and the head coach at Herbert Lehman College for three years. She made the CUNY Final 4 all three years at Lehman College. Iris has coached Club Volleyball for a combined 25 years at Creole, NYC, Bronx Bombers, Legacy and Downstate.  In 2017 she coached the JV team at the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry and in 2018 she was the varsity assistant coaching at Briarcliff HS.  Presently, she is the JV coach at Briarcliff HS.
